ABOUT THE COURSE
An intensive course focusing on everything essential in the field of beauty. Techniques are demonstrated through interactive presentations. Students practice their techniques under the guidance of professional lecturers. This program is designed to prepare students who want to get into the world of professional makeup designers with a focus on beauty. Under the word "beauty", imagine the world of personal clientele, proms or wedding make-up, make-up counselling and make-up photography. Future make-up artist is also educated about hygienic habits, self-presentation, basic business and marketing skills so that after completing the course he can start his career at 100%. The program is carefully designed to teach you the most important techniques in the professional beauty world.
How does it work?
V prvním týdnu In the first week, you will learn everything from basics. How to handle make-up, correction and eye shadow. You will learn daily, evening make-up and how to deal with each type of face. The end of the first week ends with make-up techniques with a focus on wedding make-up.
Druhý týden The second week begins with the necessary hair styling. As a future make-up artist, you have to master basic hair styles to handle hair design for your portfolio, which you make the last day of the course. Before, however, the secret of the make-up on the photo is waiting for you. How does the photographer work with you, what is your role as a make-up artist, what to look out for and how it works with retouching? All of this add together to your overall knowledge, we will add the basics of marketing and nothing will stop you from starting a career in beauty and personal clientele at a full speed.

WHAT DO YOU GET DURING THE STUDY?
A quality portfolio is the basis of the success of any make-up artist who wants to do makeup professionally. The portfolio is a series of photographs with which you present yourself. It should contain the best and most up-to-date of what you can do. The basis of a beautiful photo is not only perfect make-up, but it is also essential to choose a model that corresponds to the style of make-up, styling and, of course, perfect lighting, including retouching. The portfolio should include all the makeup techniques and styles you master. Creating a portfolio that will represent your work with dignity is therefore the first step in getting better paid jobs and creating a successful career as a make-up artist. We work with the best in our field, so you can be sure that the resulting photos of the course will become the icing on your portfolio.

AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION, YOU WILL RECEIVE 3 CERTIFICATES
The course ends with a written and practical examination. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive the Make-Up Institute Prague Certificate, the 80-Hour Visa and Color Consultancy Certificate, and the National Qualification Certification Professional Award. This certificate can only be issued by state-authorized places or persons. And Make Up Institute Prague is one of them in the field of make-up. This exam takes place separately (outside the course), we list the dates every month at our Institute and you have the opportunity as a graduate of the MASTER BEAUTY course to complete this highest achievable education free of charge. The certificate will open the door to a possible application not only in the Czech Republic, but in the whole of Europe!

Vilma Baum is a make-up artist with international experience and a great career. Ondrej Porubsky is also devoted to styling and is constantly looking for new techniques and inspiration. Petra Šmelková focuses mostly on personal clients, emphasis on a interactive form of teaching. Each graduate is also entitled to a free marketing course for make-up artists, as we recognize the crucial importance for a successful career of combining business skills with marketing minima, proper hygienic habits and, of course, the necessary talent. In this start-up course, you have the right to receive additional services free of charge as a participant and graduate. Since we know that practice is the most valuable, every graduate is eligible for 40 hours of free practice training by choice.
APPLICATION
It is possible to register for all offered courses by filling in the electronic application form. We offer BASIC PRO in three variants: study during the week (Monday to Friday), study on weekends (Friday to Sunday and the following Saturday to Sunday) and a very popular mix is Wednesday to Friday. We are constantly updating the dates.
By accepting the electronic application, a place will be reserved for you in the selected course. We will send you a confirmation of receipt of the application to the above email within 24 hours of sending the application.
COURSE PAYMENT
Together with our confirmation e-mail, you will receive all information about the course and payment documents, including an invoice. The invoice is due 14 days after sending the application. After receiving your payment, the reservation of your place is confirmed and we will confirm it to your email. Failure to pay the advance invoice by the due date, the course reservation will be canceled.

CHANGES IN TEACHING AND CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
In the event of non-organization of the course by the Make-Up Institute Prague due to an unforeseeable event, illness of a lecturer or force majeure, the course will be organized in an alternative period or the course fee will be refunded in full.
If you cancel your participation in the course at least 2 days before the start of the course, we will refund you 85% of the price of the paid course fee. The 15% deposit is non-refundable and serves to cover administrative expenses. However, this deposit can be used for one of the following dates of the course.
If the participation is canceled less than 2 days before the event or after the start of the course, the course fee will not be refunded and will be forfeited without compensation.
